Within our group we have a mix of skills and knowledge in theology, church leadership, therapy, training, supervision, organisational consultancy and academic research. Out of this we can offer:
- Training and education bespoke to your needs – e.g. your particular church setting or social context on topics such as effective pastoral skills or understanding and addressing psychological, emotional or relational difficulties.
- Consultancy sessions on a one-off or continuing basis – to support and develop the skills of those involved in helping people with psychological, emotional or relational difficulties.
- Psychological support for groups and organisations – to increase understandings and healthy functioning, e.g. in working through conflict, changing unrecognised patterns of behaviour within your team or organisation
- Feedback and recommendations regarding projects, courses or events, based on systematically collected and analysed information e.g. regarding the effectiveness of volunteer training, spiritual development programmes, etc.
How we work:
We prefer to meet face to face initially for a free consultation, in order to develop a good understanding of your context, needs and how we might best help. Following this, we draft a proposal, including CPSL’s input and charges, and send this to you for your consideration. Once the way forward is agreed, we action the specified plan, gathering feedback on its effectiveness wherever appropriate.
